Hmm...there's really not a whole lot to say about me.  I'm your average dude who loves his cars, but only knows enough to be able to love them as a side-hobby, and not a full-time job.  However, that doesn't keep me from enjoying working on my car in my spare time!

For an actual job, I am a computer programmer and a sound system technician.  I work in the sound studio and on the sound board for big presentations and events.  I've ran sound for a couple big-name Christian bands and a few big name country bands, as well as running the system for the hockey games at our 15,000-seat arena in my city.  I love doing it.

Well, my car is sick.  I'm not exactly sure what the cause of the

problem is, but as of the past few weeks (but much worse in the past

few days) it has begun pretty severe sputtering/hesitation.  At idle, it will shudder quite extremely without warning, and when I try to press the gas pedal, it doesn't have the "go" like it should.  Also, while driving, it feels like you're going over a lot of small, imaginary potholes, because of the shuddering feeling it has going on.

So, I'm not sure exactly what the problem is, and from what I have read, diagnosing the problem may be a bit of a chore.  Plus, I am heading back to college today for the year, so I will have very little space/time/money to look at it.

If anyone has any sugestions with regards to my current issue with the car, please comment on them!  I could use any suggestions you can think of.  I have already isolated out bad gas (gotten a few fillups since it started), and bad oil (gotten an oil change about a week ago.)

Vert - 1999 Chrysler Sebring

I purchased this vehicle on June 5th, 2006. I bought it on Ebay from a guy in Exton, PA. The place was about 1,500 miles from where I actually live. So, it was an interesting experience buying it, flying half way across the country to pay for it, and driving it all the way home. However, I'm glad I did it!

I've only had it for a short while, but I am in love with it! It is so much fun to drive around in with the top down, enjoying the breeze, and people staring at me. (Let's hope it's a good stare!)

I haven't done a whole lot yet to it, other than fixing a few minor problems, and installing a bit of lighting and building a custom box for the subs in the trunk. I do have plenty more plans in store for it, once I get a bit more money (I payed for the car in full) and once school starts and the busyness of the first couple weeks starts to slow down.
