August 2006 - fitted new - hm - stuff between carb and engine, which wasn´t broken. fuel consumption still ridicolous. maybe lambda-sond broken? hmm...sprayed some Mos2 onto some plugs and...works! ;)
great car, everything´s fine (except airco, doesn´t work).
then...hard rain...water everywhere inside :(
new task :-/
MOT passed. Best Golf in the world right now ;) Ordered GTI-brakes (vent'd disks) for almost nothing, still need cool wheels, radio and speakers..
bought front speakers...tiny pioneer-stuff with 120W, which is ok for a 4"-speaker
GTI-brakes are built in...good feeling ;) Still need radio and wheels, but no money in sight :(
bought in '02 from Germany, was in garage for 7 years there after getting it from Florida, where it was driven 3 or 4 seasons. (One of the) last Series 3 models (MY 90) with Series 4 electronics/engine hardware.
'68 Fiat 124 Spider AS, 1400cc, 90hp.
condition...well, see yourself...originally a very beautiful car.
1976 Mini 850 L, taken from a friend who stopped restoring it, but sold it after one year of doing actually nothing. shouldn´t have ripped it apart.
'61 Vespa 150GS, bought from old man who had it in his garage for 20 years and never drove it. engine was stuck, but everything else was ok. Can you imagine I sold this just to get "prince charming" (see my other rides)? Man, was I stupid...
'68 Giulia Sprint GT (aka "Bertone").
one of the greatest rides I´ve ever driven. This car is 38 years old, but has disc-brakes, 5 gear-transmission, aluminium engine and in this slightly modified version yellow Koni-shocks, ATS alloy-wheels and is lowered abt. 30mm.
The engine is taken from an 1800 Alfetta and is _slightly_ modified, so the car churns out about 140hp.
unbelievable, how competitive this car still is. I must have one ;)
