Mercedes-Benz 300S "Blue Persuasion"

I purchased this vehicle new in '98.  Its my daily driver and my favorite car.

This was one of my dream cars in high school.  Like the Boomers and their muscle cars, I'm collecting my youth. I think the W126 is one of the most beautiful and classic Benz's designed.

Funny thing happened on my way to buy a '69 Mark III... This little (or not so little) beauty had just come into the wrecking yard  when I saw it and knew I had to buy it on the spot instead of the Lincoln.   Yup, it's a junk yard find.  And in excellent original condition.  It has a numbers matching 421, 4 bbl engine.  After some extensive research, it turns out this car was specifically made for Bing Crosby. His name is even on the build sheet.  Winfield is currently being  restored.

Wilbur is a '67 Oldsmobile Toronado.   A local car purchased new here in San Jose, Wilbur is in great original condition.   I had been wanting to purchase a Toronado for quite some time, but originally wanted a '66 model.   This '67 was in such great condition, I couldn't pass it up.  The fact that they built 40% less Toronado's in '67 and that you don't see them as often as '66's make it even more appealing to me.  The Aspen Green paint will be repainted to original, and the interior and body are in amazing condition.   I'm a sucker for classics in original condition, especially when they have the original plates to boot!  Like my other cars,  only "sympathetic" renovations  will be done as needed. I try to keep as much of the car as original as possible.

Wasn't looking to buy another car......but you know how that goes..

this is what wet dreams are made of. .  Owning a Bentley of my own, I can attest to that.

Saw this rather shady looking Bentley Continental " Mansory" parked in front of my hotel in Roppongi, Tokyo.  I'd never seen one before.  But you can notice it has a Mansory badge on the boot.
Update:  So I had never heard of "Mansory" before, So I decided to google it for some more info. Turns out it's an aftermarket tuner company (there seems to be so many nowadays) that specializes in high end British cars, primarily Bentley.  It's headquartered in Germany.
