Today my Lotus was featured on Autoblog as their Reader Ride of the day. This is great news considering I also lost my job today. Coming home to see that really perked me up.
From reading that title you might thing "93 octane" would be a good answer, it is but I'm referring to something else. My Elise seems to love chewing on 225/45R17 Yokohama Neova AD07's. How did I figure this out? Easy, after 9,500 miles the Elise had managed to turn it's rear tires into these... They don't look too bad in the photo but in reality they were almost completely smooth all the way across. Even though they were pretty far worn they still stuck like crazy though. The Elise is happily wearing a new set of rear Yokohamas (the fronts weren't even worn halfway) that I'm sure it will enjoy chewing on for the next six months....
