Well;

Hit my first little snag in the planning department on my Saab yesterday.  I went to do some paperwork with my wife and she asked me "Why do your brakes sound so horrible?" as I stopped the car.  It seems I hadn't been paying enough attention, and the brakes were grinding pretty loudly.  Teaches me to turn up the radio...

So $19.99 and a complete brake inspection later and it turns out I have a faulty Caliper on the left rear wheel.  From a little research it appears this isn't exactly uncommon with these cars; though still not a good thing.  so rather than just repair/replace the parts I have decided my first upgrade will be headed in a bit early.

Time for some new brakes:  Calipers, rotors and pads front and rear.  Stand by for more.
