I have always considered the E Type to be one of the most beautiful cars ever built. Others do as well, as there is one on display at the Guggenheim Museum! I have dreamed of owning one since I was 15 years old! This one is very clean with 32000 miles, no rust, Cool .AC, Automatic. I bought it through a broker in So-Cal. and had it trucked here.

It is very British.. It leaks oil, sucks hi test , is expensive to maintain, and is generally uncomfortable. But like a high maintenence woman, all part of her charm and worth the thrill of the ride!

ronkidd owns:

Sallie - 1940 LaSalle 5267

Purchased from a local collector. I have tuned the engine, decked the exhaust manifold, replaced the voltage regulator, replaced carb and rebuilt the water pump and had a custom top made for her. Recently added new repro radials from Coker. She will cruise comfortably at 70.

1940 was the last year of production for the Lasalle. Apparently it was cutting into Cadillac's (parent company) sales. There were only 425 model 5267 2 door convertible coupes made. There are 23 known to exist. It is all Cadillac on the inside. It uses a Caddy flathead V-8 and bullit proof 3 speed tranny. Makes about 130 HP. Pretty hot for it's day!

Lil Benz - 1985 Mercedes-Benz 380SL

I bought this for my wife. She was thrilled! it has only 62000 miles and is very clean. It is literally "the car the little old lady drove only to church."  It was  owned by an elderly widow in Fla. I am in the process of replacing the original soft top. We also have the hard top, but why would anyone want to use it?

Big Benz - 2005 Mercedes-Benz S55 AMG

Bought this new in Jan. "05. It is an awesome ride! A hot rod in sedan's clothing! 493 HP supercharged V-8 and handles like a sports car.. I get a kick out of blowing away teenagers at traffic lights.

Allante - 1993 Cadillac Allante

I have always admired the Allante, but have not been able to find a really nice one, that is until now! The cars were built on Eldo chassis and the bodies were built and fitted in Turin by Pininfarina. They were then flown home in specially modified 747s to be fitted w/ the driveline. The '93 was the first for the Northstar 32 valve engine and suspension. It is clearly the most desirable of the Allante line.

This one was bought new by an elderly gent who kept it in a heated garage for 14 years. It had only 1600 original miles on it when I acquired it Oct. 06. It is pristene, and still has the new car smell. These cars were very expensive when new. '93 was the last year of production. It handles very nicely and is pretty quick! I changed he oil and replaced the AC freon w/ R-134.

C-6 - 2005 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible

This is my 3rd Vette. I had a "74 roadster, a '99 C-5 roadster and now this one. Ordered this car and took delivery April '05. It is an awesome ride. The LS-2 engine produces 400 HP out of the box. She has a six speed, chromed wheels, Billy Boat exhaust and GPS navigation. It is a dream to drive until the roads get slippery. You then have to be very gentle with the clutch!

This car gets 28 miles per gallon in cruise. The tach is showing 1750 RPM at 75 in 6thn gear. It consistantly gets 21 MPG combined.

Big Bird - 1960 Cessna Centurian

My wife and I are both private pilots. We are hangered at TZR.

Bought it on E-Bay about 4 years ago and ferried it home from Southern California.. This was the first year for the 210. It is really a 182 on steroids! It had a very straight body, with recent paint  but was otherwise pretty tired. We spent about 3 years restoring it. Full major, new interior, alternator retrofit, new constant speed prop, rebuilt the landing gear and tires, new avionics, new auto-pilot, GNS 430 GPS, Fuel totalizer, new control yokes, IPOD jack, new instruments and a custom panel. It cruises at 200 mph burning 11 gph.
