2003 Volkswagen Jetta "PlatinumGLS TDI"

About this Ride
Type: Automobiles
Model: 2003 Volkswagen Jetta

Owner: platinumgls
Real Name: Steve
Location: Shelby Township, US.

Here is my first brand new car. It is a 2003 Jetta GLS TDI 5-speed. Picked it up on 7/14/2003. It is pretty much as loaded as a TDI can get: leather interior, heated seats, power windows/locks, Monsoon sound system and a moonroof. Sold the Jetta in May 2005.

Mod List:
18" Mille Miglia Evo 5 Wheels
Sumitomo HTRZ II 225/40/18 Tires
Neuspeed Sport Springs - 1.5" Drop
Neuspeed 28mm Rear Anti-Sway Bar
Bilstein TC Sport Struts/Shocks from www.TDIparts.com
Upsolute Chipped ECU
Kenwood KDC-MP922 Headunit
Rockford Fosgate RFB4121 Enclosure with 12" HE Series Sub
Rockford Fosgate 301S Amp
VW Monster Mats
Tint - 5% Windows & Top Strip of Windshield / 50% Entire Windshield
ZeroStart Coolant Heater from www.TDIheater.com

DIY Mods:
Disabled Daytime Running Lights - http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=1935262
Debadged - Took off the rear Jetta badge but left the TDI. People need to know it is a diesel!
Removed Pinstripe
EGR Mod - It's a TDI thing ;)
Ventectomy - It's a TDI thing ;)

Bought them used from a vwvortex.com member. And then sold them to another member before selling the car. Actually got all of my money back for the wheels...so I basically drove around on "free" whees/tires for 2 years!
