1969 through 1970s this pickup was a personal airline jet luggage truck in UK. Beat to hell and saved a previous owner in the 1980s. After bastardized by several other owners, I finally brought it back to life.
In 2000 February this car was purchased. The vehicle was supposably "restored," but was done poorly. I stripped every ounce of paint off of it and replaced 80 percent of the metal on teh vehicle. It was rusted away from tailgate to the lower firewall. Took 2.5 years to restore. Custom hand rolled bed, bulkhead, rear subframe support beams etc..
The Austin Mini Pickup was built from 1961-1982 with a total production of 58,179. There are very few still left and even fewer in the States.
