Bought the car in January 2006, sold my 1999.5 Golf TDI for it. The car had a completely clean bill of health, fully serviced, and a repainted front and rear clip due to bumper scuffs from the PO, as well as a repainted drivers side due to marks from the owners keys on the drivers side door (silver is hard to blend apparantly...)
In May of 2006 it did its first Solo 1 event, a training school. Where it got its name, the fat business man... Automatic transmission, cushy standard suspension (okay competant but soft for a track is more like it), and the running joke was I was running my air conditioner on the track... I only did once for S**t's and giggles to satisfy the cars image :-) hehehe.
In June of 2006 it was diagnosed with worn tie-rods, shot rear brakes, and badly worn shoulders of the front tires.... wonder what all that could have been from...
It was a car that was bought and driven from 2001 to 2005, an Audi mechanic bought it from a BMW dealer, who must have taken it in on trade.
