jefflance owns:

Elan - 1967 Lotus Elan

I bought this Lotus Elan from my father ( aka Boompa, aka Harold Lance)  in the 70s and have had it ever since.  This Elan is right hand drive and was built for England, not the US.  My father bought it in the UK and had it shipped to the east coast where I was living at the time in New York.

It has always been garage kept, but in the past several years I have not had the Elan running.   It should take some modest engine tuning to get her back up to speed.

My brother, Clark Lance, still races an Elan.  Here's a link to his page http://www.boompa.com/clarklance/no-26/475/

jefflance used to own:

The Bee - 1965 Lotus Elan

I used to own this Elan. I raced it for a while back in the 60s and then sold it to my brother Clark Lance who still races it.

Hush Puppy - 1967 Lotus Super Seven

I have plenty more photos of this car. I'll need to dig them out and scan them.

When I traded a Lotus 51 Formula Ford for this Super Seven it had been sponcered by the distributor for Hush Puppy shoes and was covered from nose to tail with green , soft, Hush Puppy.  With a great deal of time and effort the Hush Puppy was removed and the 1340 cc. Super Seven was ready to race again in C Production in the Detroit area in local club races and in national SCCA events in the Mid West.

Jag - 1962 Jaguar XKE Series

My father { Boompa} and I bought this Jag together as a project car.  We pulled the front suspension and engine to clean and rebuild.  We had the car painted, installed an Abarth exhaust system and I recolored the complate interior from Beige to black.  The first outing for the Jag after the rebuild was to Mosport Park in Canada for the Canadian GP.  After a year the Jag was sold so we could buy a tow vehicle for my Lotus Super Seven race car.  We bought a 1963 Corvet with a hard top.  Now that was a fine tow car.

Double Bubble - 1960 Fiat Abarth

Check out the "Double-Bubble" roof line.
