Front bumper removal for any 1999/2000 Mazda Protege. 2001-2003 Protege's are very similar and can follow this guide.

Step 1: Remove fender liner clips

Circled are clip locations

Step 2: Remove more clips

Encircled are more clips and screw locations. Note that the corner lights will need to be removed to gain access to more clips.

Step 3: Pull bumper off

After all clips are removed, pull bumper away from the front of the car.
