I bought my Coil EX on June 28th, 2008. In have already ridden it several times. This bike is not the lightest frame made, but it is STRONG. I weigh 268 lbs. and a normal sissy bike would break under my girth.
The bike features a full front and rear suspension, and even tough obstacles combined with my weight are handled with aplomb thanks to the adjustable front and rear suspension. Add a 24 speed shimano system and front and rear disc brakes, and you have a nice setup. I was very pleased to find this bike, and my only modification is a "comfy" seat -refer back to my 268 pound girth.
I would be interested to find any other Coil EX riders and learn of any maintenance tips and upgrades.

How it was Used: This extremely comfortable seat may look out of place on a mountain bike. But comfort leads to more hours on the ride. I love this seat.
