If I had this car, I'd have to take it to the track and start doing some amatuer racing. Everything I have read about this car says its basically a go kart.

I love that it looks like an exotic, but its not priced like one. I also love that it comes from a company with serious race heritage.

Hi Ethan the Exige is a fantastic car and at $50k is one of the few dream cars that you can actually afford. However the pictures are of the Lotus Sports Exige (http://www.rsportscars.com/eng/cars/lotus_sport_exige.asp) which was built as a one-off for a wealthy asian client. With 400 bhp it is a car that will absolutely destroy any street car on the market today.
