My current mount. Sure it's a scooter, but it'll rip apart anything up to and including a Mustang GT from a stoplight, tops out at 115mph (indicated), fits 6 bags of groceries or a 24 pack of beer under the seats, and averages about 50 miles to the gallon. It's also about the best bike for threading through dense traffic out there thanks to the CVT and an extremely low center of gravity.
Highly recommended if you commute daily on two wheels and plan to ditch car ownership.

Own a Silverwing, Harley Electra Glide, Honda vtx 1800, Silverwing is fun and practical.. but then again I have never riden anything with two wheels that wasnt fun...

I miss this bike. The engine just made huge, eyeball flattening, gobsmackingly stupid amounts of torque. It was just a little cumbersome for daily traffic use, and that much power is more trouble than it's worth in gridlock. Add to that a lack of storage space, a high center of gravity, and poor wind deflection at highway speeds for someone as tall as I am.
All the same, I still miss it.
