I saw this car in downtown Los Gatos. I think the place is called Silicon Valley Auto Group. They have a bunch of exoctic cars most people have never seen. On Saturdays, they open up their doors and let people walk in and look at all their cars.
I have seen this car's list price as 1.25 -1.7 million new with a top speed of 253 mph.
You probably already know this bit of trivia, but that W16 engine is derived from the Volskwagen W12 which is, in turn, derived from Volkswagen's narrow angle V6 ("VR6", as they call it). The Volkswagen W8 also came out of this same W madness. Four cylinder banks under 2 cylinder heads - killer.
This thing is awesome.
I went there to see their Saleen S7, but I was pleasantly surprised to see this beast nestled in the corner. If anyone lives in, or will be traveling to the Bay Area, I highly suggest taking a day trip to Los Gatos on a Saturday to see their collection of cars.
