Holy Crap that is a monster! 8.8L block?.... 10.3 compression... must need a huge battery and starter to crank that beast to life. Would love shift this thing.
Hoosier daddy !!
It's a 502 block with a 4.25" crank, which brings it to 540 (8.8L). I usually have to change the starter every 2 years. I use an optima battery that does pretty well, unless it sits for more than 2 weeks.
Glad to know you like it!
I like the idea of a social site built around cars. Have the Boompa guys thought about adding a user specific URL? (www.boompa.com/chevy68)
you have one. it's that link exactly ;-)
hehe, yep. glad you like it. and let us know if we can improve on anything.... like dave said above your link... http://www.boompa.com/chevy68
I saw this car in downtown Los Gatos. I think the place is called Silicon Valley Auto Group. They have a bunch of exoctic cars most people have never seen. On Saturdays, they open up their doors and let people walk in and look at all their cars.
I have seen this car's list price as 1.25 -1.7 million new with a top speed of 253 mph.
