Very nice. Did you install the turbo kit yourself?
Yes, a friend of mine and I built it from scratch. It was a budget project (got the turbo for free from a Volvo 940, did all the welding/fabricating ourselves, etc.).
Thanks :-)
Very nice. I wonder if I can do this on an older car like a old mini or bmw 2002.
With enough time, know-how and ingenuity (engine-uity?), you could build a custom turbocharger kit for just about any car. Most of the rules apply across the board when it comes to adding forced induction to a car.
As I recall, the BMW 2002i was the first European car to come with a turbo from the factory, no?
thats a sick miata, youd be a god on the car lounge. or at least they worship miatas over there.
Very nice - always liked early Miatas.
