My ride is a 1956 Jaguar "D" type made famous at LeMans in the mid 1950's by sweeping Mercedes, Ferrari's, Aston Martins,etc. Of the original 71 built only 50 or so authentic D's remain and are worth between one and two million. My car is an authentic reproduction built in Surrey, England by guys that worked on the original cars. I found "Kitty" on the internet, negotiated a deal and the car was here two months later, for the second time. The owner/builder brought the car to Monterey, California in the early 90's for a few years then back to England and in 2000 toured Europe and some of the old race venues that made the car famous. edit this text
