An acronym for American Motors Company, AMC was purchased by Chrysler in 1987 and since then has not existed as a brand. Any models continues after the merger were included in Chrysler's Eagle brand. Before its sale the company was known under a variety of brands (Nash, Rambler, Hudson). edit this text
