Calypso - 1996 Mitsubishi Eclipse

for some reason something in boompa deleted my previous history a few months back and i haven't gotten around to restoring it. well, i'll restore it now.
my parents and i back in 2003 went and bought this car for $8000,(only i could go $600 higher and i could have got the TT300zx) anyways, it HAD just under 110 thousand miles on it at the time. now she's pushing 171thousand, (road trips, many of them)
i made a few upgrades here and there, not many, but enough to get me by with saying "basic upgrades" now i have started my most ambitious project to date, a complete turbo setup! many people ahve already the same thing y'all are wondering, "why not go get a gst/gsx eclipse?" in my eyes, it's not cost efficient to sell the spyder and get a gst that could possibly have an automatic in it. and THEN have to spend a few thousand to bring the power and handling to my tastes. i'm pretty much there with everything but power in the spyder right now.
anyways, the turbo is a 14b, and i'm still shopping for the other parts on ebay and likewise. 14b equals quick spool, quick take-off, not much for high speed driving.
more to come!!
enjoy!

78 El Camino SS - 1978 Chevrolet El Camino

i just bought this car on monday june 19, 2006. i traded in the Eagle "Bulldozer" for this car. it's a 1978 Chevy El Camino SS with the Malibu front end. this SS has a 305 in it though. the build sheet was included in the car, and has SS specified on it along with a posi-track rear end.

*update*

i just recently found out that from the  original build sheet that came with the car, that i have a turbo 350 transmission. which is awesome for getting parts. and that the rear end ratio is 2.73, which stinks for acceleration, i plan on upgrading to 3.10's or something similar.

i also just got the car back, (December 5th) from the shop. i took it to a dealership which i shouldn't have done, but in the end, you still have to pay money. anyways, the problem parts list. -2 broken valve springs, -3 bent valves, complete valve job, resurface heads, and a good tune-up. and good god, she purrs and growls at the same time. takes off like a bat out of hell too, scared one of the local "i can beat anyone" kind of RICER with the hardcore turbo-350 shift from first to second.

4g64and258 used to own:

The Bulldozer - AMC Eagle

the bulldozer, formly known as the beast, as most people would call this thing. it's big, it's ugly, it's got buttloads of torque, and can kill deer with one hit. i bought this car for a winter beater two years ago, and it still runs quite well after two years of curb abuse. i bought it for $950 bucks after browsing the paper for cars/trucks under 1 grand. well it's official, i traded her in for a new old car. i received 250 dollars for the trade.

This is 4g64and258's friend's rides:

Skidz - 1997 Volkswagen GTI

i'm sorry for this Phil, but your car is a true ricer. i mean look at all the vinyl on your car. the headlights, windshield, above the door handles, duct tape on the taillights, come on dude. just joking, i doubt you'll ever read this.
